We are local to Vancouver Island and service from Duncan BC, to downtown Victoria, BC. We’ve done projects on some of the Gulf Islands as well.
Owner/Operator, James Skailes, started his electrical career in the Yukon, where he met his wife and began raising his family. He worked on rotation in camp in the Yukon and Alberta for several years doing commercial and industrial electrical when he decided he would like to move his family back to his home town of Victoria, BC.
He got a job with a local Victoria company doing service electrical. This is when he realized how much he truly enjoyed the customer service aspect of working for the homeowners. James loves working directly with homeowners because whether he’s helping the couple that just purchased their first home or the neighbor that’s been there 30 years, the job itself is always different and he loves connecting with each customer and getting to know them on a personal level.

I used Jimmy for a few things around the house. He was able to schedule an appointment quickly and arrived on time, which I am learning in the city for trades is not that common! Work was great, he cleaned up, did everything to code where another electrician suggested we just cut a few corners. We were also had a few questions about automatic light sensors, that he looked into and got back to us on. We were unable to actually do what we wanted, but he didn’t charge us for the time that he did research. We will be using Jimmy again.
